MY BAD EXPERIENCE ON SNAPCART

NOTE: You might be familiar with my experience stated in this blog. Apparently, this was written because I was overly furious at that time when the app had me waiting for 2 weeks for me to receive my cash out. Nonetheless, they actually payed ! and I became one happy subscriber. Check this link for proof.

There are plenty of apps claiming that you'll earn money once you start using them. But they just seem to  be fooling you. Just like this one app, this very app that claims to give you cash backs by just snapping photos of your grocery receipts. Have a look at this logo.




Take note of this logo. You might often see this on app stores or google. This app can be downloaded for free but it will require your details for account's purposes.


Apparently, it has been 2 weeks since I requested a cash out and I haven't received any cash outs yet.
A maximum of 7 working days? I don't think so.

And then, a warning came up when I tried to open the app. Seriously? right after my cash out request?! 




There are numerous complaints about this app on the internet. Comments on their Facebook page claimed that a month has passed and no money came in.  If you are a bit reluctant, then just proceed to downloading the app.

    1. Hi po, ask ko lang po bakit po yung Amount ng akin naging negative po. Yung unang cashout ko po na reject then naging negative po bigla yung pera ko sa snapcart. Sana po masagot ang tanong ko. Salamat po.

    We have the same issue. Sad to say, most of the users account are all in warning status. And this would give them reason not process our cash outs.

  5. I guess I was proven wrong. After 3 weeks of waiting, I finally received my cash out. Patience is a virtue. Anyways, Thank you @Snapcart for heeding my posts. As I am gradually noticing the visibility of your customer service. More power to your app and all those who works for this.

  6. Mine as well at warning period just today. Worst case scenario? Cash out thru bank dated sept.14 and oct.3 did not push through even if I keep on sending emails at their help center following it up. Then just TODAY, they rejected my cashout request imagine how long I'd waited for nothing??? Then now they refunded all my cashout request then put me in warning period so that I will not be able to request for a cash out again. Thinking to just stop using this app anymore. I even told some of my friends and relatives bout this crap.

  7. Hi Mae. I thought they'd really pushed their strict policy. Have you been snapping receipts that aren't for household consumption alone? It happened to me back when all their policies weren't clear at that time. If you can give a little more push to their customer service, do it. Writting blogs like this gets their attention and so I succeeded and won back my cashbacks. You can also reach out to their official FB page and bombard them with your comments. Good luck to you.

  9. same disappointing experience for me. The first time I was blocked, I gave them an explanation for the bulk purchases I made due to our huge household. They accepted my explanation and even apologized which made me re-use the app again. But they again blocked me recently for supposedly suspicious activity as I made another round of bulk purchases. I mentioned to them they are free to check my pantry so that they can verify BUT they just made their own erroneous judgment without sufficient due diligence. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Avoid getting hooked as they continue to use the information you have uploaded even if they blocked you and they don't issue your cashbank once you are blocked. JUST AVOID THE HASSLE altogether as Snapcart is a SCAM!

  10. Same here.Their rules/policies are vague. I cashed out last week (my first time to cash out since I joined snapcart, I'm in silver rank nearing gold), and have to wait for 7 working days for the processing. It's been a week by last Thursday and I haven't received any notifications yet. When I logged in to check, I found out that I was blocked. And the reason? The 'suspicious or not normal purchasing behavior...", which was the same reason why I got a warning before. I asked them about this, to specify or explain the "suspicious behavior" they're accusing me of, but they did not. After a couple of days, they removed the warning and I continued snapping my receipts. I thought everything's ok, I think it's been two to three months now since the time my warning was lifted. And for the first time that I'm going to cash out, they suddenly blocked me w/ the same reason. Worse, they forfeited my cashback. I don't get, if there was a problem w/ my receipts, why did they approved it in the first place? It's like they just led me on (for their own benefit) then when it's time to get my rewards, they dropped me like a hot potato. Yes, it's very disappointing. And frustrating. I don't know if there are users who've reached gold or platinum rank, because I have this inkling that they won't let you reach it. It's bogus. Yep, like what you've said, a SCAM!

  11. Same here. I received the same warning. I noticed that I was prompted with this warning when I snapped several receipts (5 receipts in all) with 4 receipts amounting over P1,000, 1 receipt over P2,000, and 1 receipt P4,000. I believe Snapcart was suspicious of all these purchases because they do not believe that a regular household will do such purchase on the same day.

    For your information, these were my own purchases. I won 20 Robinsons gift certficates amounting to P500 each from our office Christmas party last year. Since we do not have Robinsons in our place, it took me several to use those GCs. And when I finally got the chance to but there, I grabbed the opportunity to buy use all the GCs. I requested the cashier to just separate the purchases (should total over P1,000) so that I will be given many receipts so I can snap more receipts in Snapcart.

    I even requested my sister and nephew (who were with me when I went to Robinsons) to punch other groceries to other counters so they will also get different receipts.

    I just dont understand why I received the warning. I hope Snapcart will answer this concern because just yesterday I did some sort of panic buying to do away with the price increases of groceries sure to TRAIN Law and again, I strategically separated my orders so that it will only total to P2,000 per receipt to get higher rebates.

    I dont really understand if i deserve to receive that warning. It's like an insult to me.

    Snapcart, I hope you will address this concern.

  14. This app is funny in a way best joke of the year 2018.

    They ask how big is the family living in 1 house. They even ask who spending when i upload the receipt But.... They suspend and even block me. Kudo the app... Best SCAM.

    For who wonder... I abnle to cash out my 1st time no prob. 2nd time bit drama (suspended)
    3rd time get suspended and block after that.

  15. SAme here, i received a warning and unable to cash out. So I send an email asking for an explanation why i received such warning. a week after I was able to cash out amounting to 600. It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't received it and worse case just last night I was about snap receipts I can't login to my account.

  19. Ano po kayang pwedeng gawin.. Dalawang account ng bank na yung na-try ko, ayaw naman pumasok yung cash out ko. Laging sinasabi , i correct daw yung account number..kahit nadouble check ko naman..

  20. Hello snapcart, My son accidentally erased my snapcart app, when I re-installed it I tried my password but didn't work so , I click forget password and given my email at my email I was given a link but whenever I try to reset password error 404 comes up to my browser.
    What shall I do its been 2 days already.

  22. I am si disappointed with the snapcart. I have 514 cash in my snapcart, I attempted to cash it out but the cash out did nit apoear, only the zalora icon appeared, no cash out so I skipped. I closed my snapcart and the when I open again, the balance was 14. 00 only. I am so confused if where did the 500 go. Tsk!

    1. Yeah me too. I have 509 Php balance then when i open it again it shows that I only have 9, they take back the 500Php and they send me an email saying that it was a system glitch that they gave 500PhP on the video hmmm something wierd what if I cashed it out ?? now im thinking the security of my bank account, i think im gonna uninstall the app, what a waste of time! plus your giving your sensitive info to someone else.

  28. As of now, snapcart still accept receipts. But no more cash back just like before. Now they will give only coins to use in playing snaptastic, to get a chance to win.. even lower coins or cash even lower than their usual rate . I haven't even tried to withdraw. and now their bank transaction is on maintainance. (Like forver) sigh! No wonder they got lots of 1 star on play store review now.
